Barechu - A Song for the High Holidays

"Barechu," a song whose lyrics draw inspiration from Psalm 96 of Tehillim, reminds us of the transformative power of prayer and introspection. It serves as a guide during these sacred days leading up to the High Holidays, emphasizing the importance of embracing change, offering gratitude, and committing to a new and better path in the year ahead.

Through prayer and introspection, the High Holidays become a time of spiritual renewal, a chance to return to our truest selves and draw closer to the Divine.

This soul-stirring rendition of Barechu, with music composed by Laor Oman Naharin and lyrics inspired by Psalm 96 of Tehillim, is performed by Ori Yavor and friends.

Sing to the Divine a new song,

sing to the Divine, all the earth.

Sing to the Divine, bless Their name,

proclaim Their victory day after day.
